Sometimes You Need To Take A Clean Break

My life used to be so much better when I took two complete days off per week.

If you are the type of person who works overtime or extra shifts, don't talk yourself into feeling guilty about having your day off.

I know sometimes, when money is tight, we feel the need to beat ourselves up for not having overworked ourselves yet! another day. But, don't. You deserve your day off. Trust me.

In a spiritual sense, a day off can unbind you from the daily work rituals that keep us in a constant cycle of all work and no play. It is so important to reset your soul every once in a while.

We complain about soul-ties, but then we retie ourselves to people that aren't even loved-ones on a daily basis.

My advice as a spiritual person is, before trying ritual to cut cords, the best cord cutting is to simply not create a cord with social media or your job circle.

Sometimes, the best magical healing is in doing practicle everyday things.

And, I know I'm veering off the topic right now. However as an example, say you feel you have an unhealthy bond with someone, just simply avoid running into them, and stop running after them.

This same principle applies to our jobs and how we can sometimes feel stuck in a work environment we feel we can't get out of. Instead of making excuses for why you can't quit your job, just start by taking your days off. 

Time away from toxic collegues and moody bosses will bring you a new perspective on your current situation and hopefully, you'll begin to see solutions, instead of problems.

Batch Creating Content Is Key

If you batch create content, it makes your daily schedule as a content creator so much easier. When you batch content, you can even go to nicer locations to do shoots.

How To Batch Content

1. Pick five different outfits
2. Pick five different locations or sets or spaces in your room
3. Pick five different story-telling themes.
4. Make the content.

When you batch your content, and do 5 days or weeks worth of content in one day, you don't have to talk yourself into it or find inspiration daily. You never can predict on which day you won't feel up to it, or on which day you'll get sick, or on which day you'll feel tired, or on which day you won't have the space or the time to create content.

My biggest regret and mistake as a content creator was creating content based on my daily flow.

You Don't Have To Do It All At Once.

Now, to batch your content, you don't have to batch it all in one day. You could also create extra content daily or weekly, if you still prefer to just go with the daily or weekly flow of your creativity.

So, whenever you create content, do two shoots instead of one. This way, you'll have a backlog of content for when you aren't able to create content.
